âSmiling wins more friends than just frowningâ @@@
Are you looking to get a lot of goodies during your college life? If yes, then this blog post series is for you.
Do you want to know how the life of common private engineering students is like?
If yes, then in this series of blog posts, I will be sharing my college life experiences during four years of my engineering. There are a lot of mistakes and learnings that may help college graduates avoid committing the same mistakes.
Why these blog posts?
I always strive for the concept of Sharing and Caring, so I believe in sharing things that may help teenagers (college-going students) like me learn from the mistakes I committed during my college days.
Motivation to read the series of blog posts?
Why should college-going students read this blog post instead of spending their precious time learning new technologies (such as Docker, MEAN stack, MERN stack, DevOps, CyberSecurity, etc.)?
Simple answer?
- Donât want to commit the mistakes that have already been committed by someone earlier in their engineering life.
- Want to know how to get a lot of goodies (as well as build connections) as a college pass-out? If yes, then read about the experiences and procedures to get those goodies.

Little background about me?
- My name is Bakul Gupta, and I am born and brought up in Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh, India).
- Most of my relatives and family were involved in business, but from the initial days, I wanted to make my career in IT (Information & Technology).
- My family supports my decisions, but they also say:
âBeta, we truly support your decision, but you need to search for the path yourself, as we donât have any person engaged in the IT field in our family. Also, we can connect you with as many friends in our circle, which may help build your decisions.â
First Decision!!!
Should I take a one-year gap after 12th for preparation?
I decided not to opt for a year gap for preparation. There were a lot of people suggesting I take the drop, but I joined a private engineering college in Ghaziabad (i.e., Raj Kumar Goel Institute Of Technology, Ghaziabad).
Learning:
The decision to take or not to take a gap solely depends upon the individual, not others.
Question:
When people become old (mature), do they sometimes regret the decisions they made earlier under the influence of others?
Answer:
Most of the time, I listen carefully to various people (especially my parents and relatives) and later decide what to do wholly upon my own discretion, without blaming others.
Why?
In the continuation of these blog series, this is the proposed plan for the remaining blogs.
Have a nice day!!!
Thanks for spending your precious time reading the post. Do me a favor, if possible: if any of my connections have stories/experiences to share with others, please share them. It helps others avoid mistakes that have already been committed by us.
Hurray!!! Finally, today the status of one of my long-awaited to-do list tasks is transitioning from pending to in-progress.
Thanks & Regards
